What is Erasmus?

Erasmus+ is a European Union program that promotes student mobility by enabling the acquisition of academic credits at universities across Europe. Under the Erasmus+ framework, exchanges are possible with foreign universities that have signed a corresponding agreement with our institute. These agreements specify, among other things, the number of available places per academic year, required language proficiency, and specific regulations regarding the duration of studies. Therefore, the opportunities and conditions may vary depending on the host university. Additionally, general regulations for the Erasmus program must be observed.

Why Erasmus?

Compared to other options for studying abroad, the Erasmus program is straightforward to organize, and the recognition of academic credits earned abroad is well supported, provided they are equivalent. EU-funded benefits include the waiver of tuition fees at the host university and a financial grant. Further information can be found on the homepage of the International Office (Erasmus page of the International Office).
